Consultation process
What happens during my consultation?
During your consultation, Dr. Samas will listen to your goals, review your medical history, and evaluate the area you’d like to improve. He’ll explain treatment options, expected results, recovery time, and answer all your questions clearly.
How long does a consultation take?
Most consultations take about 30–45 minutes. This gives enough time for a detailed discussion and examination so you never feel rushed.
Is there a consultation fee?
No, we do not require a consultation fee. We are happy to have you come in and do a free consult to understand your needs.
Can I schedule a virtual consultation?
Yes! We offer virtual consultations for patients who prefer to meet online first. Just select “Virtual Consultation” on the booking form or mention it when you call.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Any recent medical records or test results
- List of medications or supplements you’re taking
- Reference photos (optional, if you have a look in mind)
Will I meet with Dr. Samas personally?
Yes. All consultations are personally conducted by Dr. Samas, not a consultant or assistant. You’ll speak directly with him about your goals and options.
Procedure preparation
How should I prepare before my procedure?
Follow all pre-surgery instructions given by Dr. Samas. This usually includes stopping certain medications, arranging a ride home, and avoiding food or drink for several hours before your procedure. You’ll receive a personalized checklist during your consultation.
Will I need any medical tests before surgery?
Depending on your procedure and medical history, Dr. Samas may request lab work or other tests to ensure you’re in good health for surgery. These tests help keep your procedure safe.
Can I eat or drink before my procedure?
For most surgical procedures, you’ll need to avoid eating or drinking anything after midnight the night before. Non-surgical treatments usually don’t have this restriction — our team will confirm your specific instructions.
Should I stop taking my regular medications?
Some medications and supplements can increase bleeding or interfere with anesthesia. Do not stop or change any medications without talking to Dr. Samas first — he’ll give you a safe, tailored plan.
What should I wear on the day of my procedure?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that’s easy to change out of. Avoid metallic jewelry, makeup, and perfume. If you’re having facial surgery, wear a button-up shirt so you don’t pull clothes over your head afterward.
Do I need someone to drive me home?
Yes, if your procedure involves anesthesia or sedation, you must arrange for someone 18 or over to drive you home and stay with you for at least the first 24 hours.
Recovery expectations
How long is the recovery period after surgery?
Recovery time depends on your specific procedure. Most patients return to everyday activities in 1–2 weeks, but full healing can take several weeks. Non-surgical treatments often have little to no downtime.
Will I have pain after my procedure?

When can I return to work or daily activities?

What kind of results should I expect right after surgery?
You’ll likely see some swelling and bruising at first, which will fade over time. True results become visible once your body has healed — usually within a few weeks to a few months.
How can I reduce swelling and bruising?
Follow all post-op instructions carefully. Avoid smoking and alcohol, as they slow healing.
When will my stitches be removed?
